Job summary

Impression Recruitment is seeking a Systems & Analytics Technician in Harrogate to develop and maintain digital dashboards and data insights. You will work with JavaScript, MQTT, and Power BI to capture and visualise operational data, supporting new technology solutions.

The role offers growth in technical expertise within a collaborative, innovation-focused environment, with a 9:00 am–5:30 pm schedule and a strong emphasis on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with JavaScript, MQTT and similar technologies; training provided.
• Comfortable using dashboards or reporting tools such as Power BI or Power Automate.
• Curious and enthusiastic about using data and technology to solve problems and improve processes.
• Strong problem solving and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with the team and support client needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop and enhance digital dashboards and control platforms.
• Support implementation and management of dashboards using JavaScript and MQTT or similar tech.
• Assist in building, testing and improving software to capture and visualise data.
• Create reports and visual insights using Power BI or automation platforms.
• Optimize data flows and platform performance with colleagues.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and integrate new approaches.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues within dashboards or connected systems.
• Contribute ideas to improve platform functionality.
