Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Power BI Consultant to work with Thames Valley Police on a three-year Data Systems and Roadmap Project. The role is hybrid, based with on-site days at Winchester and Kidlington, with a 37-hour week and a daily rate of 550 Umbrella. End date is 4 April 2027.

Ideal candidates will bring Power BI expertise, strong DAX/M, T-SQL skills and experience in mentoring/training. The project aims to migrate from Business Objects to an Azure-based Data Warehouse and Power BI, improving

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Power BI: datasets, reports and service.
• Strong knowledge of DAX and M.
• Experience with T-SQL and data warehouses.
• Data modelling and dataset design.
• Experience in training/mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Power BI users and SMEs with a SQL Data Warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse developers to refine data warehouse design.
• Design and deliver informal Power BI training sessions.
• Develop Power BI semantic models from requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Engage leadership on innovative working models.
