Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Power BI Consultant to join our Data & Analytics team. You will work on reporting and BI solutions for public and private sector projects, developing dashboards and data models with 2–4 years' experience.

You'll collaborate with clients, delivery teams and engineers to transform data into actionable insights, oversee deployment, and support ongoing maintenance while staying current with Power BI, Fabric and related Microsoft technologies in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years' experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of data modelling principles and business intelligence concepts.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.
  • Understanding of data governance, security and reporting best practices.

About the Role

We are looking for a Power BI Consultant to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This role is suited to someone with 2–4 years' experience developing reporting and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

You will work closely with clients, delivery teams and technical specialists to transform data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. You will contribute across the delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data modelling through to dashboard development, deployment and ongoing support.

This is an opportunity to develop your skills across modern Microsoft data technologies while working on projects across public and private sector organisations.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
