Job summary

British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is seeking a fixed-term Business Intelligence Analyst on maternity cover, within its BI function. The role centers on pulling data from multiple systems, building Power BI reports and dashboards, and turning complex datasets into insight for planning and performance.

The post spans clinical services, finance, operations and IT, is full-time at 36 hours, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Two years in BI/reporting role
• Deliver BI outputs to support decisions
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements
• Hands-on data modelling and Power BI development
• SQL querying experience

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform and load data from multiple systems and sources
• Build and maintain Power BI visualisations and dashboards
• Analyse complex datasets to check accuracy and draw out insight
• Work with stakeholders to pin down reporting needs and produce usable outputs
• Help shape reporting solutions and how data is used across the organisation
• Train and support users of dashboards and reporting tools
• Ensure compliance with data protection law and internal governance policies
• Improve reporting frameworks and data infrastructure
• Keep current with trends in business intelligence, analytics and data visualisation
