Job summary

Kinetic plc in Widnes, Cheshire, is seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. You will work days, Monday to Friday, at an hourly rate of £14.73, with overtime opportunities and a permanent position after probation.

The role requires precise surface preparation, powder gun setup, oven operation, and rigorous quality checks to ensure top finishes on a range of parts. Wet spraying experience is a plus. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a powder coater in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to set up and adjust powder coating equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply powder coating.
• Set and calibrate powder coating guns.
• Operate box ovens and monitor curing processes.
• Check finished work for quality and consistency.

I am looking for someone who will be able to start ASAP or after notice period if required.

Key Skills

• Manual degrease and surface preparation
• Conversant in setting the powder gun to appropriate work piece
• Operation and setting of box oven/s
• Have a keen attention to detail. Responsible for checking their own work
• Wet Spraying experience is an advantage but not essential
