Job summary

Masstemps Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join our manufacturing client based in Kidderminster. You will prepare metal components and apply powder coatings to meet quality and production specifications, working as part of the production team.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with powder coating or industrial painting experience who takes pride in delivering a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for powder coating, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation.
• Operate powder coating equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply powder coating to components in accordance with customer and production requirements.
• Ensure consistent coating thickness, coverage and finish.
• Inspect finished components for defects and carry out any necessary touch-ups or rework.
• Load and unload components from the coating line/racking system.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Work to production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Report any quality issues, equipment problems or material shortages to the relevant supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the production team.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm OR Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm - Fixed shift not rotating.

Pay Rate:

£15-£17.50 per hour based on experience
