The Thrive Group is seeking a Powder Coat Sprayer in Somerset to join our workshop team. You will apply powder coatings to steel fabrications, ensuring a smooth finish and adherence to quality standards.

Based in a busy fabrication workshop, you will handle surfaces, operate spray equipment, and contribute to meeting production deadlines while maintaining high safety and quality practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with powder coating or spray painting.
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing.
• Experience working in a fabrication or workshop environment preferred.
• Knowledge of welding or general steel fabrication is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning and masking as needed.
• Operate powder coating spray equipment efficiently and safely.
• Apply powder coatings evenly to various steel fabrications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
• Maintain and clean spray equipment regularly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist with other fabrication tasks as required.
• Support the team in meeting production deadlines.
