Job summary

The Cobb Production team in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Service Team member to assist in vaccination, movement of birds and daily hygiene tasks within Poultry Houses. The Mobile Team is made up of two teams and team members are expected to assist each other where necessary.

You will work with the Service Team of 10 members reporting into the Team Lead and be part of a broader effort to maintain production standards, animal welfare compliance and strict bio-security rules across

Qualifications

• MUST hold a full driving licence.
• Excellent team player with a positive can-do attitude.
• Able to work on own initiative and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize vaccination and blood testing instruments
• Inoculate and spray vaccinate birds as instructed
• Record information according to instructions for medications, vaccinations and their treatments
• Move birds as required within the production area
• Clean and disinfect equipment and vehicles used in moving birds, supplies or equipment of the farm
• Select birds according to procedures outlined and record the data on forms provided
• Accurately weigh birds and place into appropriate pens
• Adhere to all animal welfare regulations as required by company
• Observe hygiene rules, personal hygiene and wear protective clothing as required
• Adhere to bio-security rules and Farm Health and Safety procedures
• Any other reasonable requests by the Team Lead
