Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group Limited is seeking Production Operatives - Hangers at our Coupar Angus site. You will start on the live bird handling area, placing birds onto the production line while adhering to animal welfare standards.

The role is physical and repetitive, requiring good manual handling, concentration and teamwork to keep the line running safely and efficiently. Training provided, no prior poultry experience required.

Qualifications

• You do not necessarily need previous poultry experience; training will be provided.
• Previous experience in poultry processing, farming, agriculture or similar physical production may be beneficial.
• This is a physical and repetitive role that requires good manual handling and concentration.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling live poultry.
• Placing birds correctly and securely onto the production line.
• Working at the required production pace while maintaining animal welfare standards.
• Following established live bird handling and animal welfare procedures.
• Monitoring birds and reporting any welfare concerns immediately.
• Following strict health, hygiene and biosecurity procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure the production line operates effectively.
• Following all site procedures, training and instructions.
