Poultry Farm Manager

Are you an experienced Poultry Farm Manager or an Assistant Farm Manager looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated professional to help maintain and elevate the high standards of our client’s farm operations.

As a Poultry Farm Manager, you'll be at the heart of their operations, ensuring the optimal environment for their birds.

The Job

  1. Environmental Management: Oversee ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting to create the best conditions for the birds.
  2. Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of bird health, feed supplies, and critical data.
  3. Supply Management: Ensure all necessary supplies are available and controlled, including managing alarms and potential call-outs.
  4. Animal Welfare: Prioritize health, safety, and hygiene processes, ensuring all team members can perform their duties effectively.

The Candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Capable of working independently and making sound decisions.
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team.

The Package

  • Salary £32,000 per annum plus eligibility to join a farm performance bonus scheme.
  • 3-bedroom property on site.
  • Council tax and water usage included.
