Qualifications

• Experience in the poultry industry and broiler production.
• Understand poultry health, welfare and biosecurity.
• Able to work weekends when required and stay organised.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring bird health, welfare and behaviour.
• Managing feeding, watering, lighting and ventilation systems.
• Monitoring temperature, humidity and air quality.
• Recording feed and water consumption, weight gain, mortality and flock performance.
• Maintaining production and compliance records.
• Supporting and supervising poultry farm staff.
• Organising daily tasks and ensuring work is completed effectively.
• Maintaining high biosecurity, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Monitoring poultry equipment and identifying maintenance requirements.
• Supporting compliance with farm assurance, health and safety, welfare and environmental standards.
