Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor in the United Kingdom is hiring a Posting & Cleaning Operative to manage a dedicated round in the Birmingham and Leicester areas. The role combines outdoor posting duties with shelter cleaning, requiring self-motivation, time management and the ability to work alone with a company van.

You will follow a simple weekly rhythm (one week posting, one week cleaning), enjoy flexible hours, and receive a fully expensed van, equipment and uniform, plus a competitive salary and

• Full-time role working outdoors and experience in all weather conditions is useful but not essential
• Driving experience using medium sized vans
• Remote / lone working experience - unsupervised
• The ability to manage your time and plan your own workload
• Industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Post adverts to a high standard in assigned areas and ensure bus shelters are cleaned
• Work around a weekly rhythm of 1 week posting and 1 week cleaning
• Work outdoors in all weather, often alone, with a company van
• Pop into the Birmingham branch weekly to restock and hear updates

You’ll be part of a multi-skilled team who are dedicated to ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and council bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round. You’ll be responsible for your dedicated posting and cleaning round in aBirmingham and Leicester areas. You canmanage your weekly 40 hours in a flexible way that works for you(following a simple repeated rhythm of 1 week posting and 1 week cleaning).

It is a physically demanding job and does require you towork outdoorsin all weathers so you’ll be in your comfort zoneworking aloneon the round,just you and your van. You just need to pop into ourBirmingham branch, based in Portbury, once per week to restock and to hear our latest company updates.

You’ll be provided with aFully Expensed Company Vehiclefor business use including commuting to and from the depot and to get around our different settings including busy shopping highs streets, residential areas, and rural areas.Dedicated training and supportwill be available to help get you started.

Requirements

• Driving Licence with no more than 3 points


• This is a full-time role working outdoors and some experience in working outside in all weather conditions is useful but not essential


• Driving experience using medium sized vans

• The ability to manage your time and plan your own workload
