Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term to 31 March 2026
We are looking for exceptional candidates (two vacancies) to develop and refine high-quality research projects that deliver research for the wider public good, likely providing evidence to inform decision-making.
The Opportunity:
The post-holders will work as part of the ESRC-funded Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research (SCADR) within a multidisciplinary team of social scientists, public health practitioners, and government departments. These positions will focus on research into how health and wellbeing are produced over a person's life course and through interactions with specific places and environments, aligned with Scottish Government National Outcomes.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) position, but we are open to considering part-time or flexible working arrangements. We also consider hybrid working (remote and on-campus) on a non-contractual basis. Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2026, with a likelihood of extension.
