Job summary

University of Liverpool is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead a funded project in the School of Pharmacy and Pharm Sci. The role focuses on developing a novel chemical-free antimicrobial technology, conducting experiments, building prototypes, and generating data for commercial development.

You will collaborate with academic and industrial partners, contribute to IP, regulatory and commercialization strategies, and advance the project over a seven-month fixed term.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field as listed in the job description.
• Experience with antimicrobial material development is preferred.
• Lead a funded project and work with academic and industrial partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead an IBIC Commercial Development Fund funded project to develop a novel chemical-free antimicrobial technology.
• Conduct experimental research to optimise and validate the technology.
• Design and build prototypes and generate data for commercial development.
• Support business development, IP, regulatory and commercialization strategies.
• Engage with commercial partners and contribute to project milestones over a 7-month term.
