Zusammenfassung

Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is recruiting a Post Doctoral Research Associate to drive research on insecticide-treated materials and functionalised surfaces. The role centres on characterisation with Cryo-SEM/EDS and Raman microscopy, complemented by LC-MS/MS, GC-MS and MALDI imaging, to study surface morphology and active-ingredient distribution.

You will develop reproducible methods, SOPs and data workflows, integrate diverse analytical outputs, and contribute to publications, reports

Qualifikationen

• PhD in analytical chemistry, materials chemistry, surface science or closely related field.
• Specialist training in electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
• Hands-on experience with surface or materials characterisation using SEM/EDS and spectroscopy.

Aufgaben

• Lead surface and fibre characterisation using Cryo-SEM/EDS and Raman microscopy.
• Develop analytical methods and SOPs for multimodal data integration.
• Prepare integrated datasets and scientific reports for publications and funding bodies.
