Overview

Salary: £35,608.00 – £46,049.00 per annum
Closing Date: 6 January 2026

Key Accountabilities

• Plan and lead high‑quality research projects, manage timelines and supervise teams
• Develop and execute the specified project using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Contribute ideas that enhance technical and methodological aspects of the work
• Publish multiple independent research findings in prominent peer‑reviewed journals over a substantial period of time
• Prepare and write scientific reviews for publication in reputable outlets
• Disseminate research findings through seminar and conference presentations nationally and internationally
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research students and take responsibility for their training
• Interact intellectually with other academic members of the Institute and seek interdisciplinary collaboration
• Identify and undertake a programme of professional development, including further training in research methods and transferable skills
• Maintain the highest academic standards and work in accordance with university policies
