Job summary

The University of Oxford, Department of Materials, Begbroke Science Park, Oxford, invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher focusing on optically addressable molecular spins. You will study excited and ground-state molecular spins using a homebuilt ODMR setup and collaborate with Oxford and Cambridge colleagues to develop structure–function relationships.

• PhD degree (or near completion) in molecular spin physics, EPR, ODMR, solid state quantum physics, or related areas.
• Experience designing and implementing experiments.
• Disseminating work via research articles and conference presentations.
• Training and management of PhD students.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement experiments using the homebuilt ODMR setup.
• Disseminate results through publications and talks at conferences.
• Supervise and train PhD students within the group.
• Collaborate with Oxford and Cambridge researchers on structure–function relationships.
