University of Oxford invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position focused on the design and implementation of a large-scale astrophysical transients programme using the Africa Millimetre Telescope (AMT). You will work closely with Oxford-based and international teams to develop this pioneering programme.

Formación

• PhD or near completion in astrophysics or related discipline.
• Experience in radio or millimetre astronomy and astrophysical transients desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement a large-scale astrophysical transients programme using the Africa Millimetre Telescope (AMT).
• Collaborate with Oxford-based and international Blackholistic and AMT teams to develop the programme.
• Teaching opportunities may be available.
