Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver to join the Royal Mail contract in Whitney. The role suits those who enjoy outdoor work, have strong customer service and can work independently while meeting daily delivery targets.

The position is temporary with immediate start, 40 hours per week, 10am-6pm shifts, and a pay rate of £13.69 per hour. A full UK manual licence is required, with weekend availability likely expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK manual driving licence; clean licence preferred; held for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
