Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Worthing. You will deliver letters and parcels on a fixed-term contract for 12 months, working 30 hours a week across 5 days in 7 with some weekend shifts.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence, physical fitness to walk long distances, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Overtime is paid. Joining the Worthing Delivery Office offers community-focused service.

Location: Worthing Delivery Office, BN11 1AA

Job type: Fixed Term contract (12 months)

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 30:00 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – Between 9:00 -17:00/or 13:00 - 19:00*

You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

Sunday hours are 11:00 until 17:00.

About You
