Royal Mail is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels in Wellington on a rotating shift that may include weekends. You will sort mail, deliver by van and on foot, and build relationships with customers in all weather.

Full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van are provided. Candidates must hold a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) and be fit for long walks and lifting 10 kg+ mailbags.

You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand. You'll be required to work one in four Sundays at Taunton Delivery Office Delivery Office.

What to expect

This role is physically demanding and fast‑paced:

• Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)
• Driving a Royal Mail van daily

Training and requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
