Job summary

Royal Mail in Loughborough (LE11 1BX) is recruiting a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to sort and deliver letters and parcels on a rotating shift. You will work 30 hours per week across Monday to Sunday, with 08:30-14:30 and 15:00-21:00 blocks, including Sundays.

You'll need a full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, be comfortable outdoors in all weather, and pass a driving assessment. Training and a uniform are provided.

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 30:00 hours per week - working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday - 08:30-14:30/15:00-21:00*

You'll be required to work Sundays at Loughborough Delivery Office and the Sunday shift pattern will be from 12:00/18:00*

About You

We'll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You'll need:

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
