Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Leven is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a fixed-term 9-month contract at Leven Delivery Office to deliver letters and parcels in the local area.

You will work a rotating shift 10:00–16:00, 30 hours per week across 5 days in 7, including weekends. Full training and a uniform are provided, plus a Royal Mail van to use on route.

This physically demanding role keeps you active, outdoors, and connected with your community while delivering great service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 30:00hours per week - working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday - 10:00/16:00*

About you

We'll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You'll need:

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment

• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
