Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for Cardigan Delivery Office. The role involves delivering letters and parcels in Cardigan on a 30-hour week, across Monday to Saturday, with Sundays required.

You will drive a Royal Mail van and walk routes, building relationships with customers in the community. The job requires a full UK manual driving licence, physical fitness, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

Location: Cardigan Delivery Office, SA43 1BS

Job type: Fixed Term 6 months

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 30 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Saturday – 0810/1710*

You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

You’ll be required to work Sundays at Cardigan Delivery Office.

About You

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)

• Reliable and self-motivated
