Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail in Keynsham. Start date is immediate, with a 30-hour week and a pay rate of £13.69 per hour.

The role involves sorting, loading deliveries, and delivering letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle. You will use a handheld device for signatures and navigation, lift mail bags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg, and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence, held 6+ months; max 6 points preferred.
• Delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle; walking up to 8 miles daily.
• Lift mail bags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg; use trolleys when needed.

• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
