Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for a Postal Delivery Driver in Barnstaple. Start date: Immediate. This temporary role offers 37 hours per week at a pay rate of £13.69 per hour, with shift times from 10:00 to 17:00.

You will be delivering letters and parcels in outdoor conditions, using handheld devices for signatures and navigation, and starting from the local delivery office. You should hold a Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max, clean licence preferred) and have good time management and

• Previous delivery or driving experience beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required
