Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Rugby for Royal Mail. You will deliver letters and parcels, walking and driving as required, starting from the local delivery office and using a handheld device for signatures and routing.

The role suits customer-focused individuals who enjoy working outdoors in all weather. A full UK manual driving licence and 6 months’ holding period are required, with weekend availability and a 08:30–20:00 shift window.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle; up to 8 miles walking per day.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Lift mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg; use trolleys when needed.

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

Hours: 30 Hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required

Shift Times: Between 08:30am and 20:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
