Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver for a temporary role in Horsham. Start date is immediate, with 30 hours per week and a 12:30pm-6:30pm shift. You will deliver letters and parcels, loading at the local delivery office and using a handheld device for signatures and routing.

Applicants should have a full UK manual driving licence and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Weekend availability is required to cover busy periods.

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
