Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Hove to support Royal Mail. Start immediately with a 35-hour week on a temporary contract, typically 9am–9pm, Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

You will load deliveries, navigate routes, and deliver by foot or vehicle while maintaining excellent customer service. The role suits outdoors-loving individuals who work well independently and can lift bags up to 20 kg.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet delivery targets.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous driving or delivery experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, walking up to 8 miles daily.
• Lift and carry mail bags and parcels, using trolleys when required.

• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
