Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Folkestone on a temporary basis. You will earn £13.69 per hour for about 30 hours a week, with shifts 1:30pm-8pm and weekend availability. The role involves outdoor delivery, driving a local route, and customer-facing service for Royal Mail.

Starting immediately, you’ll load deliveries, use a handheld device for signatures, walk up to 8 miles daily, and lift bags up to 16kg. A full UK driving license is required with up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) and held for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
