Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Canterbury to support Royal Mail. This temporary role involves delivering letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, with a 3pm–9pm shift and a 30-hour week in a outdoor setting.

Start date is immediate and full training will be provided. A clean UK driving licence and good time management are essential, along with excellent customer service and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
