Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver in Leatherhead on a temporary basis. You will start at the local delivery office, sort and load deliveries, and begin the route on foot and by vehicle.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, good time management, and excellent customer service. It involves outdoor work in all weather, lifting mail bags and parcels, and using a handheld device for signatures.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max, clean licence preferred).
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at local delivery office to sort/load deliveries.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

Hours: 37 Hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required

Shift Times: 8am-3pm

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
