Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver for the Wrexham area on a temporary/ongoing basis. The role involves delivering letters and parcels by foot and sometimes by vehicle, with shifts from 6am to 2pm and up to 30 hours per week.

Immediate start date and weekend availability required. You will load deliveries at the local office, use a handheld device for signatures and navigation, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Delivery or driving experience beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

Hours: Up to 30 hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required

Shift Times: 6am - 2pm
