Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Temporary Post Delivery Driver for the Highlands and Perthshire area. The role involves starting at the delivery office, loading deliveries, and completing routes in all weather. You will deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, with shifts between 8am and 8pm and weekend availability.

A valid UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points is required, with license held for at least 6 months. Previous delivery experience is helpful but not essential.

• Strong customer service skills to interact with the public.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
