Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Ayrshire Dumfries and Galloway on a temporary basis. You will start from the local delivery office, sort and load deliveries, and use a handheld device for navigation and signature capture.

You'll deliver letters and parcels by foot or vehicle, possibly walking up to 8 miles daily, and lift bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg. Outdoor work in all weather conditions is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max; clean licence preferred).
• License held for at least 6 months.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

Hours: 30 to 40 Hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required

Shift Times: Between: 8am - 8pm

Requirements:

• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
