Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver for the North Midlands. The role involves delivering letters and parcels, starting from the local delivery office, with routes that include walking and driving portions.

It is a temporary contract with shift times between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, plus weekend availability. You will use handheld devices for signatures and navigation, handling parcels up to 20kg and bags up to 16kg.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max; clean licence preferred).
• Must have had a driving licence for at least 6 months.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle; walk up to 8 miles/day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
