Job summary

Your World Nursing is seeking a Recovery Nurse in Leeds to manage care and monitoring after surgery, ensuring safe emergence from anaesthesia, controlling pain, and monitoring vital signs. You will assess patients' consciousness, airway, and overall condition as they awaken, providing timely interventions.

This contract runs 17 November 2026 to 15 December 2026, with pay £23.50–£27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a UK healthcare setting.
• Right to work in the UK and UK references are required.

Responsibilities

• Care and monitoring of patients after surgery or anaesthesia.
• Ensure patients safely emerge from anaesthesia and manage pain.
• Monitor vital signs and assess consciousness and airway as patients awaken.
• Communicate with surgical teams and anesthesiologists for smooth transitions.
