Prospero Teaching is seeking a Tutor to support an 18-year-old male with ASD and significant communication needs in the SN10 area. This is a 1:1, face-to-face role focusing on English and Maths with potential History/Geography, and SEMH support to build independence.

The tutor will provide structured routines, visual supports, emotional regulation, and life skills development in a safe, calm setting away from the family home where possible.

Formación

• Patient and adaptable tutor capable of supporting learners with ASD.
• 1:1, face-to-face tutoring in the SN10 area.
• Experience with SEMH support and independence skills development.
• Ability to support Functional Skills English and Maths, with history/geography as potential subjects.

We are seeking a Tutor to support an 18-year-old male with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), significant communication needs, sensory differences and learning difficulties. He has attended specialist provisions throughout his education and would benefit from a patient, adaptable tutor who is confident supporting learners with additional needs.

Provision Details

Location: SN10 area
Delivery: 1:1, face-to-face
Preferred Setting: Away from the family home where possible
Subjects: Functional Skills English, Functional Skills Maths, Potentially History and Geography
Additional Support: SEMH support, mentoring and independence skills development

About T

T has a strong interest in History and Geography and would enjoy opportunities to explore these subjects alongside his core English and Maths learning, this however is not mandatory.
