Bankside College, part of OFG Education, is seeking a dedicated Post-16 SEN Teacher with an interest in IT, Computing, Digital Learning or Technology to support autistic young people on their educational journey.

You will deliver engaging lessons, harness digital tools, and foster a student-centered, inclusive environment to help students gain confidence and real-world digital skills for life beyond education.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Interest in IT, Computing, Digital Skills, Game Design or Technology-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Use IT, digital technologies and interactive resources to enhance learning.
• Create an inclusive and supportive environment where students can thrive.
• Adapt teaching strategies to overcome barriers to learning and promote success.
• Track progress, set meaningful targets, and celebrate achievements.
• Develop and review individual learning plans and support strategies.
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
• Work closely with colleagues, families and external professionals to support positive outcomes.
