Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Lead for Luxborough Court School (ages 5–19, Autistic Spectrum Disorder). You will develop, organise and deliver a high‑quality PBS approach, co‑producing plans with children and families to improve daily life and outcomes.

As a practice leader you will train and coach staff in person‑centred PBS, model best practice and implement proactive strategies across teams, in a setting with strong development and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
• Relevant SEN/Health & Social Care qualification
• In-depth knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Understanding of Individual Behaviour Support plans, young person risk assessments and targeted support
• Experience identifying and delivering training needs
• Extensive experience working in partnership with young people and their families
• Ability to support others to understand behaviours and collaborate on proactive strategies

Responsibilities

• Develop, organise and deliver a high‑quality PBS approach for children and young people
• Co-produce with children and families to identify support needs and develop individualised plans
• Lead staff teams in PBS training and coaching related to individualised plans
• Model good practice and provide guidance in person‑centred PBS delivery
• Collaborate to implement proactive strategies to improve quality of life
