LDA Care Ltd in the United Kingdom is hiring a Positive Behaviour Support Assistant to support adults with learning disabilities or autism in their own homes. The role involves assessing needs and developing PBS plans tailored to individual goals.

Travel is essential; you will be based in Frinton-on-Sea at least three days a week. Salary is £30,000 per annum with benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualificações

• Qualifications – level 2/3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care or Mental Health studies.
• PBS qualification or equivalent in behaviour support.
• Willingness to work toward a diploma in PBS and teaching qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and tailor Positive Behaviour Support plans.
• Collaborate with PBS lead and multidisciplinary team.
• Coach and guide support staff, caregivers, and families.
• Utilise data to monitor target behaviours and adjust interventions.
• Create easy read PBS plans and ensure understanding.
