St Elizabeth's College in Hertfordshire is seeking a Positive Behaviour Learning Support Assistant to help learners thrive in a specialist setting. You will provide 2:1 support to pupils, helping them stay engaged and develop confidence throughout the school day.
Term-time only, with 36 weeks per year, the role offers training and a supportive team environment. You’ll work alongside teachers, therapists and care professionals to make a genuine difference for young people with complex needs.

Contract: Term-time only (Monday to Friday, 36 weeks per year)
Salary: £22,727 (£14.14 per hour)

This isn't a typical classroom support role. As a Behaviour Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with a small number of pupils, often providing 2:1 support, helping them feel settled, engaged and ready to take part in their day.
Our learners may experience challenges with communication, emotional regulation or behaviour. Your role will be to provide the consistency, structure and encouragement they need to navigate those challenges safely and positively.
You'll get to know each learner as an individual - what they enjoy, what helps them feel comfortable, what can be difficult for them and how best to support them.
You'll work alongside teachers, therapists and other professionals to put agreed strategies into practice and help create an environment where learners can develop their confidence and independence.
It's about understanding what someone needs, not simply reacting to what they do.
