Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a General Construction Labourer for an ongoing site in Portsmouth. The role provides 8 paid hours daily, Monday to Friday, with steady weekly pay and a pathway to long-term work.

Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card, wear full PPE, and have prior site labouring experience. Availability to start immediately is required, with physical fitness for manual handling tasks on a busy construction site.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card (Green Labourer card or above).
• Full PPE (steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest, hard hat, gloves).
• Previous general site labouring experience.
• Available to start tomorrow.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades with daily manual handling and tasks.
• Offloading delivery vehicles and moving materials across site safely.
• Sweeping work zones, clearing debris, and maintaining site skips.
• Keeping walkways and access routes clear and hazard-free.
• Following health and safety guidelines and wearing PPE at all times.
