Qualifications

• A general understanding of weapon systems, missile systems and design process throughout a product's life cycle.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and building effective working relationships across the Portfolio enterprise and the wider business.
• Ability to work with, influence, and where required, challenge senior management.
• A flexible mindset, able to tackle problems and develop genuinely innovative solutions for a given challenge.
• Big-picture view and focus on key tactical issues.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering approaches and practices, DOORS familiarity and requirements management.
• Develop and work a System Design / Requirement Trade with stakeholder acceptance.
• Operate with autonomy and manage priorities when presented with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Engineering aspects of the UK Portfolio.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to define, agree and verify Portfolio requirements.
• Broaden skillset through Systems Team work packages including IP, facilities, supplier databases.
