Job summary

Benchmark Capital Limited is seeking an Investment Risk & Performance Analyst to join the Investment Team in Horsham. You will oversee, analyze, and report investment risk and portfolio performance across propositions, model portfolios, and managed services.

You'll collaborate with the Investment Team while retaining independent oversight, delivering insights on portfolio construction, outcomes, and risk exposures to strengthen governance and reporting for client outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience in investment management, wealth management, asset management, or investment consulting.
Strong understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment products.
Knowledge of investment risk management principles and methodologies.
Experience producing investment risk analysis, performance reporting, or investment analytics.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Ability to interpret portfolio, market, and performance data.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

Monitor portfolio exposures across market, liquidity, concentration, currency, and counterparty risks.
Conduct portfolio risk assessments, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
Review portfolio positioning against investment objectives and risk tolerances.
Identify emerging investment risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.
Support the enhancement of investment risk methodologies and monitoring frameworks.
Prepare risk reporting for Investment Governance Committees and senior stakeholders.
