Description

This position sits within the MO Technology function and reports into the Portfolio Partner and SIC lead. The role will be responsible for directing and consolidating all investment planning activity and outcomes-based reporting across Business and Technology. This role will be central to strategic foresight and planning across the investment cycle, providing a comprehensive view of investments.

The role will work across product, project, and pipeline work to ensure the investment allocation and decision-making process is efficient. It will support investment scenario modeling and portfolio risk analysis, shape and coordinate relevant portfolio forums, and act as the central liaison to the product operations team and the business. The focus will be on data and reporting, with an emphasis on automation and streamlining activities.

It will develop effective relationships with partners, product, finance, and other key functions to gather and produce a consolidated view of all investment requests, early discovery work, pipeline, and in-flight activities. The role will create automated reporting mechanisms using appropriate tooling and AI-driven analytics to maintain a continuous, cohesive view of all investments (product, project, pipeline), applying strategic and commercial insights. It will assist the portfolio partner and SIC lead in driving commercial insights, analysis, and reporting across the investment portfolio.

The role will help build a compelling narrative around each investment, shaping business cases and forum submissions. It will support the SIC lead in producing the monthly Strategic Investment Committee reports. The team will adopt a partnership model to create a cohesive strategic pipeline of value-led investment propositions.

Additionally, the role will lead the implementation of an automated, digital-first reporting and insight function, partnering with the product team to manage the investment pipeline and embed the investment prioritization model, facilitating effective executive decision-making. It will also oversee benefits tracking, impact assessments, risk and issue identification, enabling well-informed recommendations to stakeholders.
