A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Portfolio Office Manager to join the Group Digital Services Team at Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT). We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated staff with a delivery focus who can align to our values and behaviours. You will be delivering exciting change initiatives, service improvements, and defined projects across our portfolio of work, supporting the achievement of the MFT Digital Strategy and wider organisational strategies and digital aspirations.
You will form part of a growing, motivated, and supportive team and will be well placed to develop your skills and knowledge of managing Portfolio Office Teams. The role encompasses supporting the design, adherence, and secretarial support to Digital Services’ Governance structures, providing a PMO service offering to projects - ensuring that they are supported to deliver to standards and schedule and reviewing all of Digital Services’ Portfolio deliveries in order to ensure Risks and Issues are managed well and that dependencies between projects’ deliveries are understood and managed effectively.
This is a busy and rewarding role in a team which supports the transformation of services through the utilisation of technology in accordance with trust-wide business requirements. Your application must be able to demonstrate that you have a sound understanding of business change, project and programme delivery, have strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills, advanced IT skills understanding and working knowledge of digital change initiatives and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
