Aviva plc is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Norwich with 50% office attendance to shape and manage the Claims Data Science and Advanced Analytics portfolio. You will ensure investments align with Claims strategy and business priorities, coordinating across multiple functions and executive stakeholders.

The role involves maintaining a unified portfolio roadmap, overseeing risks, dependencies, funding and resources, and providing evidence-based recommendations to optimise value.

Qualificações

• Strong portfolio, programme or PMO leadership experience within a complex organisation.
• Experience managing portfolio governance, prioritisation, resource forecasting and executive reporting.
• Ability to track costs, benefits and value realisation, supporting evidence-based investment decisions.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and navigating competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Knowledge of data, analytics, AI/ML, technology delivery or a regulated industry such as insurance or financial services would be advantageous.

A bit about the job:

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the Claims Data Science and Advanced Analytics portfolio, ensuring investment, specialist capacity and delivery activity remain aligned to Claims strategy and business priorities. Working across Claims, Data Science, Product, Technology, Finance, Risk and Change, you’ll maintain an integrated portfolio roadmap while providing clear oversight of risks, dependencies, funding and resource demand. You’ll support senior leaders with insight-driven recommendations on where to accelerate, reshape, pause or stop investment to maximise business value. This is a highly visible role with significant executive engagement and a direct impact on delivering customer, operational and financial outcomes.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Starting salary £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
