Job summary

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee a premium Central London commercial and mixed-use property portfolio. You will oversee operational, financial and commercial performance, working with investors, asset managers, occupiers and property management teams to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires strong budgeting, lease administration and stakeholder management, with MRICS or related degree desirable.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial property management, portfolio management or a related real estate discipline.
• Proven experience managing premium office, retail or mixed-use assets.
• Strong understanding of service charge management, budgeting, lease administration and property operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and performance of a portfolio of premium commercial and mixed-use properties.
• Manage property budgets, service charges, financial reporting and expenditure control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, asset managers, occupiers and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure properties meet the highest standards of operational performance, compliance and occupier experience.
• Coordinate facilities management teams, contractors, consultants and external service providers.
• Monitor lease obligations, property management agreements and statutory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance asset value and support investment objectives.
• Contribute to asset business plans, sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs and provide regular portfolio performance updates and recommendations to clients.

This is an opportunity to take responsibility for the operational, financial and commercial performance of high-quality Real Estate assets, working closely with investors, asset managers, occupiers and property management teams to deliver exceptional service and maximise long-term asset value.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile

• Strong commercial acumen, financial management skills and a client-focused approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience coordinating property management teams and external service providers.
• MRICS qualification or a relevant property-related degree is desirable.
