Job summary

Gold Group Limited is seeking a Lead Portfolio Manager to support the Passenger ETCS Deployment Programme in the UK. The role focuses on establishing and overseeing the delivery of projects to implement ETCS onboard fitment on passenger trains, ensuring alignment with fleet strategy, operator readiness, deployment triggers and governance approvals.

Based in Greater London, the role requires extensive programme and project engineering experience in digital rail technology and rolling stock

Job description

We are recruiting for a Lead Portfolio Manager supporting the Passenger ETCS Deployment Programme.

The role will focus on establishing and overseeing the delivery of projects to implement ETCS onboard fitment. This includes implementing the agreed strategy, establishing and overseeing the projects needed to fit or upgrade passenger trains with ETCS.

Operating within a national portfolio environment, the role requires alignment between fleet strategy, operator readiness, deployment triggers and staged governance approvals.
